Season chicken with salt and pepper, then coat with the sauce. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes (or longer in the fridge).
Set air fryer to 380°F.
Lightly brush the air fryer basket with olive oil. Place marinated chicken skin-side down.
Air fry for 10 minutes, flip, then cook until internal temperature reaches 165°F, about 10-15 more minutes.
